Varicon manufactures plastic drums made from 100% virgin resin or from 100% post-industrial regrind. Because of this commitment to environmentally friendly recycled resin, we offer lower costs to the customer, and send considerably less waste to landfills.

All Varicon open-head drums are manufactured from environmentally friendly EcoGrind™. Varicon produces EcoGrind by cleaning, granulating and reprocessing post industrial high-density polyethylene scrap via a state-of-the-art pelletizing system. EcoGrind is both economical and ecological, and was created with both the environment and customer in mind. As a lower cost alternative to virgin resin, it provides for the production of open-head drums with new container quality and performance and increased value for the customer.

Each Varicon Open-Head drum incorporates an integrated foot ring, providing stability and ease of handling. Additionally, Varicon offers 55-gallon tight-head drums (one piece), that are made from virgin material.
